Miriam's adventurous spirit is infused into the lyrics, melodies and passion of her music. With a background in Latin, African and Contemporary Folk she accompanies her powerful vocals with Kora (African harp), Acoustic Guitar, and Balaphone (wooden xylophone).She is a poetic, intelligent lyricist and a diverse performer who writes and sings in five different languages. Many of Miriam's songs take their inspiration from long periods of time living in West Africa, India and Latin America. She performs songs that tell tales of the people, places and stories she has lived.
