Mary Kathleen Burke was born in Ireland but now lives in Scotland - this is her first solo album. Using her strong, passionate voice to good effect, Mary sings a mixture of traditional and contemporary songs backed by a host of fine musicians, including fiddlers Chuck Fleming and Alastair McCulloch. An excellent debut album on the Greentrax label.

Mary enlisted the help of a host of very fine musicians to session on her album including:
