Writing and performing songs such as these puts your heart on your sleeve. Things are shared which would not normally be shared and if we are lucky they will remind us of our common humanity and perhaps bring some peace into our lives. We are not alone and sometimes we need to be reminded of this. That's not to say these songs are all autobiographical. Some are and some are just an observation of my fellow man over more years than I care to admit to. (sometimes it's just for the rhyme.) There is little new under the sun and I'm sure it's all been said before and will be again.
