The Gartloney Rats combine influences from Galway Bay to Vladivostok to produce an eclectic mix of Celtic punk and Raggle Taggle rock. The lads also play homage to the American folk tradition with their version of the classic tunes Plasic Jesus and Man of Constant Sorrow. To get the unique Rats sound the band play many instruments including, but not limited to accordion, banjo, mandolin, mandola, guitar and of course the engine room of drums and bass.

On this album the Rats play three rollickin' originals along with Celtic tunes, punk reggae, gospel and even a Rats version of a Cold Chisel classic No Sense... If you just want to chill out or dance your clogs off, put the Rats on and play it LOUD...
