- This is a traditional Australian folk song that Nic learnt from Bob Dylan. It tells of a disgruntled convict who is planning his revenge on the tyrants who sent him to Botany Bay.

- Nic wrote these two jigs. A particularly memorable red wine inspired the title of the first tune, and the second was written for Cat on her birthday and is named in tribute to her family's block in Cardoss in North West Victoria. We are joined by our good friend and fabulous guitarist Jeremy Dunlop.

- We first heard a version of this song sung by Englishman Nic Jones. This is the Australian version from the singing of Mary Byrnes

- The first tune is a Breton tune, Cat wrote the second tune for her mum after a trip to Carrickalinga Beach in South Australia, next is a popular tune by fiddler Nollaig Casey.
- 5. Ca' The Yowes

- Nic and Rinn learnt this Rohbie Burns favourite from their mum, who learnt it from
their Scottish grandmother and great aunts.
- 6. Shto Mi E Milo

- We learnt this tune to Shto Mi E Milo years go from a band called Kavalcade and only recently picked up the lyrics, there are many more verses, but we only sing the first one, which translates as ' I wish I had a shop in the old street, where I could watch the girls, mainly Kalino'. Corinn wrote the second tune for our friends Cer and Martha Clancy when they were leaving Melbourne t go back to Ireland.

- A powerful song from the US. Nic and Rinn are descended from a long line of mining
families, this song is one that is well sung amongst them.

- This first tune in this set is a traditional French-Canadian tune, the second is by Josie
McDermott, we learnt the third tune in various sessions around the place and the last
tune was written by Bola Fleck.
- 9. Wallaby Track

- A classic Aussie love song about hitting the road, but not making it very far. The Wallaby Track was what Swaggies called 'the road' and 'going out bush', The tune in the middle is called Ernie Goodman's Waltz, we learnt it from Book Two of John Meredith's famous collection

- We associate all these tunes in some way with our mate and great musician Ben Stephenson who was very influential in the early days.
